Northwest Carriage Museum

Steven Brand is one of Mr. Coates’ 3rd grade CVA students and he and his mother recently visited the Northwest Carriage Museum in Raymond, Washington. Steven said his favorite wagon was the 1888 stagecoach. "It can hold 12 people, and was used in the movie Virginia City. It would be cool to drive a stagecoach with a 6 or 4 horse team." Steven told us there are lots of carriages and artifacts and in the back of the museum you can get on a truck wagon and dress up in old time clothes.

History abounds with a visit to one of the finest collections of 19th century carriages, buggy’s, wagons and historical artifacts in the country. The museum is family friendly, educational, historical and a great place for CVA students. It sounds like Steven and his mom had a great time at the museum and I reckon anyone would enjoy getting "carried away" at the Northwest Carriage Museum.
