In the event of an emergency (such as hazardous weather conditions or a Learning Management System disruption), CVA will post on the CVA Website to all families a “must read” message explaining the details of the emergency, especially if it will result in the closure of our main office. CVA will also record a voicemail message announcing the details of the office closure and the availability, or lack of availability, of teachers and other school services.

Please note that CVA and our teachers may be located in places where conditions are different from those in the student’s location. Such services may be occasionally interrupted when school operations are running as usual or vice versa. Even if CVA closes due to hazardous weather or other emergencies, students should still continue working in their courses.
