CVA’s grade 6-12 language arts, math, science, and social studies online courses have an honors option where students complete all of the regular assignments, along with additional academically rigorous assignments. Honors courses provide a more challenging and engaging experience for advanced students, ensure a stronger foundation for college readiness, and can give students an advantage when applying for scholarships and college entrance.

Students who wish to complete the honors option will notify their course teacher to activate the honors learning activities in the course. Upon successful completion of the course and honors assignments, the teacher will complete the documentation of credit process and the honors designation will be noted on the transcript.

AP and College in the High School courses are not offered at CVA.
