Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to explore career interests, learn job skills and relate learning to actual work experiences while training at a local business. This opportunity to have hands-on experience in different career fields will increase students’ marketability as they practice the skills expected by employers. Students can earn credit for paid, unpaid and supervised, work-based learning experiences. Unlike the core course credit requirements of 150 hours of course-related work, work-based learning credit is based on 180 hours. Contact your CVA teacher for more information.
