Can private school students enroll in CVA?

Follow

Students enrolled in private schools may enroll at CVA. However, Washington State law places limitations on private school students enrolling in public school:

Because of this:

  • Students enrolled full-time in a private school may only take courses through CVA that are not offered at the private school.
  • Students enrolled in a private school less than full-time do not meet the legal definition of a “private school student,” so they may share enrollment between the two schools.
  • Students may not be enrolled full-time in both a private school and CVA at the same time.

Questions about sharing enrollment between CVA and a private school should be discussed with the CVA Enrollment Advisor during registration.
